How long does it last?
On its own, a few days, like a regular polish. With the Long-Lasting Kit (included in every 5- and 10-pen set), up to 14 days. No base coat needed.
Do I need the UV lamp?
Only for long wear. Day to day, the pen stands on its own. For up to 14 days, you need the UV Top Coat and lamp. Both come free with every set. Already own a UV lamp? The Top Coat is sold on its own too.
How many manicures per pen?
20 to 25. One stroke covers a nail, so a pen goes much further than a bottle you have to layer. The 5-pen set is over 100 manicures.
How long does it take to dry?
The color is dry to the touch in seconds. With the Top Coat, two minutes under the lamp and you're done.
How do I take it off?
Pen color alone: a few seconds with the Naomi Remover on a cotton pad, no acetone. Sealed with the Top Coat: use a regular gel remover. The Naomi Remover won't take cured top coat off, and we'd rather tell you here than in a support email.
Does it work on natural nails? On ridges?
Yes on natural nails, tips and press-ons. On ridged nails, two thin coats work better than one thick one.
Will it chip?
Alone, it behaves like a regular polish. Sealed under the lamp, the color is locked in and holds up to 14 days with a well-applied top coat.
What's in it?
Water-based formula, HEMA-free, TPO-free, vegan. Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Acrylates/Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.
